One level further than reseller hosting

A reseller plan lets you create cPanel accounts for end users. A master reseller plan lets you also create reseller accounts — customers who then create their own cPanel accounts.

That is how you build a network: you sell to resellers, they sell to website owners, and you keep a margin on everything underneath you.

Who it suits

  • Agencies with partner developers who each want their own accounts to manage
  • Established resellers whose customers have started asking to resell
  • Anyone building a hosting brand with distributors rather than direct customers

If you only sell to website owners, an ordinary reseller plan is cheaper and does the same job.

How the three levels fit together

You, the master reseller

You hold the plan, the disk and the bandwidth. From your WHM you create both reseller accounts and ordinary cPanel accounts, and you set the package sizes each one gets.

Your resellers

Each gets their own WHM, their own branding and their own nameservers. They create cPanel accounts out of the allocation you gave them, at prices they choose. They do not see your other customers and they cannot exceed their allocation.

Their clients

An ordinary cPanel account: file manager, email, databases, Softaculous, free SSL. As far as they are concerned they bought hosting from your reseller, not from you and not from us.

What it takes to run

Selling to resellers is a different business from selling to website owners, and it is worth being honest about what it needs.

  • Billing that runs itself. Once you have resellers, manual invoices stop working. WHMCS handles orders, invoices and account creation, and we sell the license for a fraction of list price
  • Nameservers of your own. Your resellers point their clients at your brand, not ours
  • A support line. Your resellers will ask you things before they ask us, so decide early what you answer and what you pass on
  • Allocations that leave headroom. Sell the disk you have, not the disk you hope to buy

None of that is difficult. It is just the part people discover after they have signed their first reseller rather than before.

When to move to a VPS instead

A master reseller plan is managed: we run the server, patch it and keep it up, and you work in WHM. That is the right trade while the business is growing.

The point to move is when you want things the shared platform cannot give you — a specific PHP build, your own caching layer, software that needs root, or simply resources nobody else can touch. At that point a VPS with cPanel/WHM does the same job with the panel license included in the price, and you administer the machine yourself.

What comes with a master reseller plan

  • Built for speed

LiteSpeed web servers and NVMe storage, so pages render quickly and stay quick as traffic grows.

  • Secure by default

A free SSL certificate on every site, plus automatic backups you can restore from.

  • Everything pre-installed

cPanel, Softaculous with 400+ one-click scripts and the SitePad site builder come with the plan.

  • Support that answers

Our team is reachable 24/7 by ticket and live chat, and we migrate your site for you.

Master Reseller Hosting: frequently asked questions

What can a master reseller do that a reseller cannot?

Create reseller accounts. Your customers get their own WHM and can sell cPanel accounts to their own clients, with you above them.

Is it still white label?

Yes, at every level. Your resellers see your brand, and their clients see theirs.

Do I need WHMCS?

It is the practical way to automate orders, invoices and account creation once you have resellers under you. We sell shared WHMCS licenses.

Can I upgrade from a reseller plan?

Yes, and your existing accounts come with you — upgrading happens on the same server.

How many resellers can I create?

As many as the plan’s disk and bandwidth carry. You set each reseller’s allocation, so the practical limit is how generously you package them.

How much does master reseller hosting cost?

Plans start at $40.81, shown in US dollars. Each plan above lists its disk, bandwidth and accounts, and you can switch between monthly and yearly billing.

Who supports my resellers’ clients?

You do, as far as they are concerned — they bought from your reseller. Anything that turns out to be the server rather than the account comes to us, and our team is on it around the clock.

Do I need my own nameservers?

For a white-label business, yes, and they are straightforward to set up on your own domain. Open a ticket after you order and we will walk you through it.
