What we do
Hostsawa provides web hosting, domains, professional email, VPS and dedicated servers to businesses across Africa and beyond. Our hosting runs on NVMe storage behind LiteSpeed web servers, with cPanel, a free SSL certificate and automatic backups on every plan.
We are also a shared license provider. That means we supply genuine cPanel, LiteSpeed, CloudLinux, Plesk, DirectAdmin, WHMCS and a dozen other licenses for servers you run yourself, at a fraction of what they cost bought direct.
How we work
- No overselling the fine print. What a plan includes is what it includes, and the price you sign up at is the price it renews at.
- Migrations are free. If you are moving from another host, we move your site, databases and email for you.
- Support answers. Ticket and live chat around the clock, from people who administer the servers rather than read from a script.
- Server locations are not a marketing claim. We tell you what you are buying rather than dressing it up.
Why we sell licenses as well as hosting
Most hosts stop at the hosting. But the moment a customer outgrows shared hosting and takes a VPS, they hit the thing nobody warned them about: the control panel costs more than the server.
cPanel moved to per-account pricing and the bill went up every year after. For a reseller running two servers, or an agency hosting a dozen client sites, that single line item decides whether the business works. Shared licensing is the answer the market found, and we are one of the few providers Africa and beyond who sell both halves: the server and the license that makes it usable.
Seventeen products, from cPanel and LiteSpeed to CloudLinux, Plesk, DirectAdmin, JetBackup and WHMCS. Genuine software, updates straight from the vendor, a fraction of the list price.

What we will not do
- We do not publish server locations, and we will not invent a local one. There is no Kenya-located VPS and no Kenyan IP; if you need data in a particular country, we say so before you order rather than after.
- We do not sell cracked software. A shared license is the vendor’s own product under a different licensing arrangement; nothing is patched.
- We do not quote numbers we cannot stand behind — no invented uptime percentage, no latency figure that depends on where you are sitting.
- We do not take payment methods we cannot support. Card, bank transfer, and M-Pesa on the Kenyan site.
